Please read the following statement prior to subscribing to any e-mail list on blacksburg.faith:
Corporations are now blocking non-work related e-mails. They may see our distributions (such as prayer requests) as spam. Spam can have many definitions, but e-mails that are subscription based (“something you ask to be sent”), are not spam in any way. However, corporations may see it differently. They have the right to say that any e-mail that is not work related is spam. As Christians, we should be very careful to not use work resources for our personal use. Therefore, please try to abide by the following suggestions to help keep e-mails from blacksburg.faith flowing freely:
1. Please, if at all possible, use only a personal e-mail address - not one that your work provided address.
2. You will be required to verify that you control the e-mail address. The system will immediately send you a message. If you do not see it in your inbox, please check your spam folder. The message will have a link inside that must be clicked on in order to tell our system that you do indeed control the address provided.

3. When you get an e-mail from the blacksburg.faith, please do not hit the forward button in your e-mail software. There will be a link at the bottom of your e-mail that will allow you to forward through our system. This allows all the necessary links to be preserved so we do not APPEAR to be a spammer.

If you only have a work e-mail address: # Please get an approval from your IT department to receive personal e-mails from this website and forward a copy of the approval to the webminister. # If your IT department has questions that you cannot answer, those may be sent to the webminister. # Please know that if your e-mail bounces back and it is determined to be a “work related” e-mail address, the e-mail address will be immediately blacklisted and you will not be able to receive e-mails from roanokechurch.net at that address. This will happen without notification.
